Granblue Fantasy Versus has been out for a few months now and more people have been giving their thoughts on the current tier list.
The tiers seem to be converging and putting the same 4 characters in the S tier with Lancelot, Ferry, Gran, and Katalina. These characters have simple game plans with powerful tools and high damage output, so it’s not a wonder that they’re doing well in these early stages of the game’s life. Of course, as tech develops and patches are released, these tiers will change over time.

Tier list: There’s not that big of a gap in the tiers or characters at all imo. It is ordered and everyone is sleeping on everyone.
Ladiva MU chart: Ferry and Lance are bad but not the end of the world. Vaseraga is kinda in-between 5-5 and bad atm.

Here is my tier list of GBVS, take it with a grain of salt.
To me the top 5 seems equal in terms of bullshit, and the differences are minimal.
Zeta is still very strong, deserves the top spot in S Rank.

My impression of current gbvs patch.
Kat and Gran at the top because of their ridiculous buttons, strong neutral/low commital pokes into high damage or corner carry. They feel consistently strong in any situation. I think Gran is a tad weaker because he hangs himself easier. pic.twitter.com/LqIkWzo8Zi

Gap is smaller right now but as people get more matchup exp there is literally no reason to play anyone else but Kat/Lance/Gran, and even gran is hard to justify since he struggles vs Kat.
Ferry is good in theory but needs work.
