
Daisuke Ishiwatari, the creator and developer of the Guilty Gear Series, gave an interview to Famitsu regarding the newest iteration of GG.
He explains that instead of creating beginner mechanics for the game, he wants to redesign it from the ground up to be simpler and not too difficult. They’re hoping this approach helps to make the gateway into playing Guilty Gear a bit wider. Part of the process is to make the game not LOOK difficult and have people who don’t play be able to understand what is going on.
There are a few translations out there, but the translation from Xiei (@XiePlus) is being corroborated as a very well nuanced translation.
