In the wake of COVID-19 and delays to the Capcom Pro Tour, some in the Fighting Game Community have wondered whether or not Capcom will continue to support Street Fighter V. The developer answered those questions today.

As detailed in a post on the Capcom Unity blog, Street Fighter V will indeed have a fifth season, including five new characters and three new stages. In exciting news for the community, Capcom also announced a costume contest. To enter, fans can email their own high-resolution artwork to one of four region-specific email addresses. From there, the company will help to select a number of designs for a round of Twitter voting. The contest is open now, and it will run through July 21st, with voting taking place between August 17th and August 31st.
