Ryan Hart tells the tale of Chikurin’s journey to become the Tekken World Tour champion of 2019. He explains that Chikurin wasn’t always a Tekken player but was drawn in by Tekken 7’s great visuals. He rose to become Japan’s top player but wasn’t too well known until his underdog win at the Korean Rox n Roll tournament. Here, Chikurin beat Knee, who is considered one of the best Tekken players of all time, and got 1st place. This put him on the every Tekken players radar as the guy to beat. The journey after that gets very rough for him but he kept persevering to eventually become the champion of the entire tour.
