Do you like dropkicks? Do you like body splashes? Well, if you answered yes to any of those questions, you’ll love SNK’s newest character in King of Fighters XV. Ramón was introduced Wednesday night in the latest character trailer for KOF XV and well, he sure does look like Ramón. As usual for single-character trailers, the trailer didn’t show off any new mechanics, but we did see the usual assortment of metered and meterless combos, this time from Ramón. One silver lining, however, is that it seems SNK is putting quite a bit of effort into throw animations in this game, as Shermie, and now Ramón, have both showed a lot of dynamic throw animations, and the weight of throwing characters looks heavily emphasized, even if other animations are still looking a bit “SNK stiff”.
