Fighting Games @ Xanadu is one of the longest running FGC weeklies in the world. This is a public event. It is not invite only. There are plenty of console and PC setups so even if you don't want to enter the tournament there's plenty to do!

The venue is inside of the horse track yes. It’s also very good with all of the tournament setups + monitors provided by the venue. Just bring your controller of choice and if you want to bring your own stuff you can hook it up anywhere. They also have a lot of strong computers if you want to play anything on those as well.
The tournaments that are run on Thursdays are
Tekken 7
BBTAG
DBFZ
SF5
GGXRD Rev2
and anything else people really want to run.
Lately UNIST has been picking up steam there and might get more stream time as well.
