The release of Granblue Fantasy Versus is coming very soon on February 6, 2020 in Japan. There hasn’t been an official date for the US/EU release but XSeed is looking to have them released shortly after the Japanese release. So for those itching to get their hands on the game on day 1 to get the competitive edge, you can learn here.

Here is a quick guide on how to make a Japanese PSN account:

Once you make the accounts, you’ll need to purchase digital Japanese PSN cards. You’ll want to purchase them from a reputable source like Play Asia. But if you want to try to save money, you can try Ebay or other sites that list it for cheaper.

Once you’re ready to purchase, check the prices to buy the appropriate amount of Yen. Be sure to sign into the JP account that you made above to add these games to the correct account. As of this writing the prices are as follows:

Digital Standard – ¥6,911

Digital Deluxe – ¥11,741

Character Pass – ¥9,761

In case you don’t know where to go to redeem the PSN cards, you can see this quick guide here:

Finally, you can enjoy getting on the GBVS grind on day one.
