Continuing their outstanding tradition of charity video game tournaments, Extra Life and Trace Complete are teaming up with Red Bull Gaming this weekend to host Fight For The Kids, a Tekken 7 event that will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In addition to giving children’s hospitals extra funding for research, training, and equipment, CMNH also helps pay for medical care itself. Especially in the United States, this is vital, as many health care costs aren’t included either in private insurance plans or in the US social safety net.

To serve this worthy cause, Fight For The Kids will feature a number of exciting events. First, nine up-and-coming Tekken players from the east coast will strut their stuff in a round-robin exhibition. Later on, players from all levels will compete in an open bracket. All the entry fees for the open tournament will go to CMNH and will be matched by Trace Complete. Along the way, viewers will get to hear from Hoa “Anakin” Luu (the fourth-place finisher in last year’s Tekken World Tour finals), unsung hero Tom “PuppySwarm” Drury, beloved commentator Hassan “SpaghettiRip” Farooq, and more.

The fun starts this Saturday, November 7, at 10am EST/3pm GMT. So if you’ve got a couple bucks to give, grab your joystick, practice your EWGFs, and help the Fighting Game Community continue to make the world a better place. To sign up, visit the Fight For The Kids Discord here. For more info about CMNH, follow them on Twitter and check out their website. And to watch the event on Saturday, bookmark its Extra Life page here and follow Trace Complete on Twitch so you don’t miss a minute of the action.
